Should You Have Different Reels for Different Things

I get asked this question a lot. "Should I have different reels for different things?" The answer is that it's important to have a general hosting reel, showing a little bit of everything that you do. Think of it as a general flavor and an array of skill sets. 

Now if you have an area of expertise...maybe you’re a makeup artist, you’re a chef, you’re a red carpet reporter? Then, you should have a reel specifically for that. And also, if you have a couple of areas of expertise, maybe you fix up cars, as well as do Interior Design, you need to have a reel for each. And within each reel make sure you demonstrate a variety of skill sets. You have standups, interviews, demonstrations, co-hosting. Show that you are a versatile host even within your area of expertise. 

That's my advice on having different types of reels as a host!
